2005 Spring Social

 April 16th-17th 2005
 RAIN OR SHINE!!!

This year at the spring social we are shooting for an all time record high number of cars to attend!  We would like to reach 40+ cars!  Please come out and help us meet our goal.

Event kicks off Saturday Starting at 10:00am at Hackettstown Motor Imports in Hackettstown, NJ (Located at 220 Stiger Street):

  • The event will go on rain or shine....bring an umbrella just in case!
  • Spectators (Non-Members) are welcome and will be asked to make a donation of $3 per person to the club, or $5 per family (family = 2 or more people)
  • Membership signup/renewals (If not pre-paid. See Information below on how to pre-pay)
  • Door Adjustments
  • Car Inspection and tech session (by P.J. Grady)
  • Raffles/Prizes/Awards  (For paid members only)  See the Prize Items HERE
  • Items for sale
  • Music
  • Lunch will be provided for all paid members
  • Wives/Girlfriends...Hackettstown has a TON of shops within a 3 minute walk!!!!

Dinner will be at Larison's (a.k.a Larison's Turkey Farm) in Chester NJ.

  • Dinner price will be $35 per person (pre-pay price before 4/9 is only $32!)
  • You can pre-pay for dinner and save a few dollars!  See Details below for Pre-payment information.
  • Dinner will be served at 6:30pm in the main dining room.  Reservations are under "Delorean Mid-Atlantic Club"
  • We expect to have one (possibly two) guest speakers for this years dinner!

Wyndham Garden Hotel - Mount Olive at International Trade Center

Hotel Accommodations:

  • Hotel arrangements can be made at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Mt. Olive NJ (973-448-1100)
  • Rooms should be booked under "Delorean Mid-Atlantic Club"
  • Room rates are $109 for King size bed, $119 for Double bed (per night).  This price is a discount for ADVANCE BOOKINGS!   Book your room now  (Rates Expire on March 16th!!)  These prices are reduced ~$30 from the normal rate
  • There is a breakfast buffet, or ala cart menu available Sunday morning at the hotel for an extra cost
  • You can cancel your booking without charge until 24 hours prior to the event

 

Sunday Event:

  • We plan to go to the Englishtown Car show and Swap Meet (This is the coolest/largest car show in NJ!) located at Raceway Park.
