Day two: Rob and Debby Grady drive down Rt 287 in NJ
on the way to the Englishtown Car Show |
|
|

Gary and Jen Gore relax in the chairs and casually
answer all Delorean related questions the passers-by have for us (And
yes...that is a white Bricklin at the end) |

We had a great turnout of 13 cars at the
Englishtown Car Show on day two of our Spring Social. We really
drew a crowd of people who had a lot of questions. |
|
With Dinner completed, many members left for home, or went
back to the hotel for a much needed night of sleep.
The next morning we were back on the road heading towards Englishtown NJ
for the huge car show and swap meet. The show always provides an
interesting array of classic and collector cars. This year we made
a showing of 13 Deloreans for the crowd to gawk at, and they definitely
did.
The Englishtown show is a great way to spend the day looking at all
types of cars, and shopping for useful and sometimes unusual parts in
the swap meet/flea market area of the show. |

As it is with any time you have a Delorean on display, you
tend to get a lot of questions. Some are commonly asked throughout
the day. For this reason, the DMA put together a tri-fold
FAQ (frequently asked question) sheet to hand out to all the people who
were interested. A copy of the FAQ sheet can be obtained by
clicking on the picture below. Feel free to print them out and
carry them with you in your car, or distribute at car shows. We
think you will agree that we covered all the bases of the commonly asked
questions you always hear! |
|

The Delorean FAQ sheet created by the DMA is a nice
handout to have in your car. It covers all the basics that most
people inquire about, and provides many details. |

We caught Lauren Reilly enjoying a cheese steak sandwich from one of the
many food stands. (sorry Lauren..it was too funny not to post!) |
|

Rick Gendreau's twin engine car ALWAYS creates a
crowd. Many people who saw it thought all our cars had two engines
in them when they were built! :) |

DMA Event makes local newspapers! |

Food, swap meet, cars, fun....it can only last so long.
:(
The day drew to a close and we all said our goodbyes and departed for
home. It was a great weekend for everyone who attended and
we are all looking forward to getting together again at the summer fun
run in July! Keep checking back on our website for details on all
of our upcoming events. We would love to have you come out and
share in the fun with us. |
