The year is not over yet!  DMA wants to get ONE LAST party in for our members before the new year!   Back by popular demand, we are hosting our 2005 Holiday party for club members on Dec. 10^th at the newly re-designed Dave & Buster’s Grand Sports Café in the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia PA.  What's that?  You'll be busy with last minute holiday shopping?  Don't worry, our activities director has set this event up at one of the HUGEST malls on the east coast, so you can shop all day before the event!  It's going to be a blast...make sure you come out and join us

Another successful fall foliage tour under our belts!  This year's trip to the New England states turned out to be a great run (despite the fact that mother nature would not give up any fall colors for us to enjoy along the way.  All the members who attended had a great time The event has been documented in our scrapbook section of our website.

Summer is almost over...but don't be sad!  Think about it, you have two things going for you.  You own a Delorean, and the DMA Fall Foliage Tour 2005 is almost here!  We are working out the details now, but preliminary information can be found on our events page.  You should really come out and join us for our third HUGE event of the year.

We have all heard questions like these at car shows, or just while driving around town.  The DMA Club has created a "Delorean Frequently asked questions (FAQ) sheet for you to print out and hand out whenever you like.  Click the image to download a copy.  ENJOY!

Long overdue...the recap of the 2005 spring social is now completed and ready for your viewing enjoyment.  The event proved to be a huge success with 38 cars in attendance and 85+ people!  This was by far, our largest event to date for the DMA club.  Thank you so much to everyone who attended or donate items/time to make this event happen.

With only a few days left until the spring social, the weatherman is saying we will have a PERFECT weekend!  60 degrees, and partly sunny!  All the vendors and individuals who have contributed to the prizes have sent us a total of over $1400 of prizes and gifts that will be given away!   The itinerary and directions for the event are now completed and available for download on the spring social page.

Members are in for a treat this week.  DMA has finally completed our long overdue Winter 2005 newsletter.   Sorry to keep everyone waiting for so long, but with the death of John Delorean and setting up the spring social details, we have been busy little bees.  ;)

The Delorean Community has been struck with some sad news today.  John Zachary Delorean has passed away at the age of 80 due to complications from a recent stroke.  The Delorean Mid-Atlantic Club wishes to express our thoughts deepest sympathy to his family on their loss.

Thanks to Gary Gore, we were able to put together a holiday event again this year.  Gary arranged for some members to participate in the LBI Holiday parade on December 4th followed by dinner afterwards.  Special thanks also go to Mark Levy for doing the write-up for this event!

It's Here!!!  The Fall Foliage Tour V web page!  This thirteen page website documents all of the events of the 5th annual tour that took place in Long Island, NY.  We had 20 cars show for the event, and the fun, games, and photos were never ending!

The "Design our Logo" contest has officially ended.  The entries will be judged by the club officers based on the rules and guidelines for the contest.  Though the winner will not be announced until dinner at the Fall Foliage Tour V (see below for details) you can preview all of the entries that were submitted.   We would like to thank everyone who participated!  It was great to see all the designs that you came up with.

Bust out your Crayons, Paint, Pen and paper because Delorean Mid-Atlantic is proud to announce our new contest: "Design our Logo"!  The DMA is looking for a unique logo to use on our web site, shirts, etc.  We decided to make this into a fun contest for everyone to enjoy, and the winner will receive a gift certificate to P.J. Here is a chance to get our and do something great with your Delorean!  A fellow Delorean enthusiast in NJ contacted Delorean Mid-Atlantic about a fund raiser car show for "The American Cancer Society".  Proceeds from this show will be donated to the foundation!  The event will be in October.  Details can be found on our events page.

Details on this year's Fall Tour are finally available!  This will be our 5th annual fall tour, and it promises to be nothing short of spectacular!  The tour will be Held on October 16-17th in Glen Cove, NY.  Details are still being worked out, but you can see the general information on our events page.

Sorry it took so long to get this update posted after the event!  The 2004 spring social was another great club event.  This year it was hosted at PJ Grady's Shop in West Sayville NY.  Everyone who attended was in for a treat with a full BBQ lunch, tech sessions, door adjustments, raffles, and much much more!  Click on the picture to the right to see more details on this wonderful event.

Happy Holidays everyone!  As we get ready to wrap up a great year, the Mid-Atlantic club officers would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.  Santa came a little early and left us all the Fall copy of "Thermo Time" in the members section of the web site.  Not a member yet?!  Membership makes a good stocking stuffer!

The Fall Foliagee Tour Web page is up and completed.  Sorry it took us so long to do, but we had over 200 pictures to go through and select from.  The Fall Tour was a huge success and this 12 page recap will show you all of the good times we had during the course of the weekend.

The Club's "Links" page has been updated a little to show off some other Delorean related sites on the internet.  If you have a site that you would like advertised on our page, let us know!

We also received word today from SEDOC (South Eastern Delorean Owners Club) about their upcoming event: "The Bi-Annual Cruise In".  From the information on their site, this looks to be like one HUGE event!  I seriously suggest you check it out.  You can find them on our "Links" page or click the logo below for SEDOC

Members section of the scrapbook has been update with new pictures of Joseph Molino's car.  If you want to see an AMAZING restoration of a car that was left for dead, check this one out for yourself!  This car literally came back from the dead!

The Mid Atlantic club just held the 2003 Summer Fun Run and the event was a smash!  Everyone who attended had a great time and got to see some really nice areas of New Jersey during our drive and photo shoot.  We had a total of seven cars in attendance, and nine owners (yeah...we were a couple of cars short).  You can see all the details on our scrapbook page of our website.  Click on the picture to the left to go directly to the page and read more about the event!

The Summer 2003 copy of our club's newsletter "Thermo Time" is now available in the members section of our website.  This edition covers the events of the spring social, details on the upcoming summer fun run, letter from the club President, tech tips, and more.  Check it out when you have a minute!   There is also some interesting spoiler information about some upcoming benefits that will be offered to club members online!  Remember, Thermo Time is only available to club members.  If you are not a member yet...what are you waiting for!?  We are going to be offering

The weather on the east coast this summer has not been friendly to Delorean owners.  So far almost every weekend has had rain!  The lack of nice driving days has forced us to take action!   Delorean Mid Atlantic club is planning a summer "Fun Run".   We are going to have a BBQ and a short road trip!  Details are being worked out now.  You can check back here, or on the "EVENTS" portion of our web page for more details

"Delorean Car Show Magazine" is taking off in a BIG WAY!  If you have not checked it out yet, you should REALLY do so!  Ken Koncelik and Josh Haldeman are the masterminds behind this new and fun to read magazine that is published four times a year.

Ken's entire family also helps him to publish the magazine and coordinate the large Delorean car shows like Cincinnati, Cleveland, Memphis, and the upcoming 2004 Pigeon Forge show!

Spring time again....time to dust off that Delorean and make the most of mother nature!  Although mother nature did not seem to want to cooperate with us for our 2003 spring social, we decided to make the most of the day any way that we could.  Not letting the rain dampen our spirits, we had a great time with our tech session and an even better time at dinner with our guest speaker.  Want to know more?  Check out our scrapbook page on the website for the full story!
